Our History
With the opening of his first hotels in Mykonos, Mr. George P. Daktylides, a very active and innovative personality (a pioneer in the hospitality industry of the island), founded the Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts in 1979.
The development of deluxe resorts on the sandy beaches of Mykonos next to the azure, clear waters of Platis Yialos came into reality in 1989. The expansion of the Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts with a luxury hotel beyond the standards of any competitors at that time, the Myconian Ambassador was completed in 1992.
